Prabhas and Pooja Hegde-starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ won hearts but underperformed at the box office due to its slow-paced narration. The Radha Krishna Kumar directorial went on to release on an OTT streaming platform today.
Inevitably, the netizens showered immense love for the film all over again on Twitter as they started the trend, #RadheShyam while enjoying the movie. The film received a thunderous response as soon as it began streaming.
Yet again, Prabhas has managed to impress the audiences with his acting prowess and screen presence. Prabhas as Vikramaditya plays the role of a palmist, who realises that he has the power to change his destiny by changing his karma and proves love wins against all odds. Pooja Hegde has also given out an applause-worthy performance in the period romantic drama, and their chemistry looks fresh on the screen. While some have given thumbs up to the film, others have stated that it is just below average and didn’t manage to live up to the expectations.
Talking about ‘Radhe Shyam,’ the film also starred Bhagyashree, Sathyaraj, Krishnam Raju, Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Murali Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Jayaram and others in pivotal roles. The film was bankrolled by Vamsi, Pramod and Praseedha under the banner of UV Creations in association with T-Series. The catchy soundtrack of the film have been composed by Justin Prabhakaran, while S Thaman delivered the thumping background score. The film’s technical crew comprises Manoj Paramahamsa as the cinematographer and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao as the editor.
