Prabhas Attends Dussehra Celebrations At Red Fort, Performs Ravan Dahan

New Delhi [India]: On the occasion of Dussehra, actor Prabhas, who’s starring in the Ramayana-inspired movie ‘Adipurush,’ attended Delhi’s biggest Ramlila, organized yearly on the historical Red Fort grounds for its iconic celebrations wherein he was given the respect to perform the Raavan Dahan.

Prabhas was present along with his ‘Adipurush’ director Om Raut and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for the festivities, which the Luv Kush Ramlila Committee organized. After the Ramlila organizers felicitated the pan India famous person with flora and a headband, Prabhas held a mace in his hand, which he raised as much as a loud cheer from the humans presents there.

As the Ravan Dahan muhurat approached, Prabhas took the bow and arrow and channelled his inner Lord Ram to fireplace the shot, marking the start of Ravana Dahan, the very last act of the Ramlila on Dussehra.

Meanwhile, because the teaser of Prabhas starrer ‘Adupurush’ has been unveiled, the film and its depiction of Ramayan have been a warm subject matter of dialogue. The mythological film has been slammed widely for its poor VFX and the “misrepresentation” of characters.

Earlier, even as talking to ANI approximately Ramayana, BJP spokesperson Malavika Avinash had said, “It represents this country, its civilization, and its human beings. So no person can take it with no consideration, let alone a movie director. I am indignant, and this misrepresentation saddens me”.

‘Adipurush’ has been produced by means of T Series and Retrophiles. It is slated to hit the theatres on January 12, 2023, in IMAX and 3D. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Om, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair, the movie can be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
