Are you planning to visit the United Arab Emirates? If yes then beware of the flight approval letters that are now being issued by scamsters. Referring to this, the UAE Embassy in New Delhi has warned Indian expats who are all set to return to the UAE against fake flight approval letters that are being issued by scamsters.
The UAE Embassy, in a tweet, also urged all its visitors and clients to be careful while planning their visit, and urged them to visit its official website for any necessary information and mentions. The Embassy further added, “Please avoid visiting suspicious sites @UAEembassyIndia shall not be responsible if any damage occurs.”
The notice from the Embassy comes at a time when the UAE recently announced that it would now allow return of those who have been vaccinated fully with WHO-approved COVID-19 jabs and holding valid residence visas from 15 countries, including India.
With regard to the details about arrival requirements, the UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) added that passengers can apply via the website of the Federal Authority For Identity and Citizenship (ICA) and complete the vaccination application to get all the necessary approvals in addition to presenting the approved vaccination certification upon departure for the UAE.
With Dubai Expo 2020 to officially open in less than three weeks, the ICA and the NCEMA also announced that applications for tourist visas will now be open to people from all countries, provided that they are fully vaccinated with one of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines.
