Pediatric ICU in Maharashtra

Hingoli, Jul 10: Maharashtra state’s school education minister and guardian minister of the district Prof. Varsha Gaikwad on Saturday said that as the health system was ready, the third wave of corona won’t enter in Hingoli district.

She was here to inaugurate the 1050 per minute capacity oxygen production project, pediatric intensive care unit, 50-bed PICU centre as well as the new building of District AIDS Prevention and Control Room and ART Medicine Center at the District Hospital here.

All facilities including oxygen, project, level three intensive pediatric unit and 20 bed NICU, ventilators have been provided to prevent a possible third wave of covid, she said.

She also visited Viral Research and Laboratory and D.E.I.C. Inspected the department.

MLA Tanhaji Mutkule, Zilla Parishad President Ganaji Belle, Vice President Manish Akhre, former MLA Santosh Tarfe, District Collector Ruchesh Jayavanshi, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Radhabinod Sharma, District Surgeon Dr. Rajendra Suryavanshi, District Health Officer Dr Shivaji Pawar was present.

Prof. Gaikwad said that due to the tireless efforts of all the officers, employees and people’s representatives working as front line workers, we could arrest the corona.
