The first look and title of Krish’s Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Rakul Preet Singh starrer will finally be out on August 20 at 10:15 AM.
Billed to be a spectacular adventure, the film is adapted from a novel written by Sannapureddy Venkata Rami Reddy. Shooting for the film took place in a long schedule before the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic hit. Despite some controversies surrounding Rakul then, the filmmakers managed to shoot for the film in the outskirts of the city in no time.
Leaked stills and behind-the-scenes pictures and videos of the film show Rakul in a langa-voni and herding goats while Vaisshnav was dressed in a more modern avatar. The actress was last seen in Manmadhudu 2 in Telugu while Vaisshnav recently made his debut with Uppena. The film will see music by MM Keeravani and cinematography by Gnana Shekar VS.
Announcing that the title and first-look of the film will be out soon, the makers kick-started promotions with a video that gives a glimpse into the tale. Sharing it on social media, Rakul called it her most author-backed role and wrote, “Get ready for #Production8!! It’s a spectacular adventure with Mega Sensation #PanjaVaisshnavTej. It is my most author-backed role & I am super excited to share this with you all. It was a privilege to work with the team of @DirKrish #Sannapureddi @mmkeeravaani @gnanashekarvs. (sic)”
Saibabu Jagarlamudi and Rajeev Reddy are producing the film under First Frame Entertainments banners be presented by Bibo Srinivas. Further details are awaited.
