Paavana Wins Best Actress Award At Chhatrapati Shivaji International Film Festival

Actress Paavana is on cloud nine as she has won the best actress award in the special jury category in Chhatrapati Shivaji International Film Festival. An excited Paavana shared the news on her Facebook handle by sharing the pictures of certificates which are getting congratulatory messages from her fans, friends and well-wishers. Her post reads, “Another good news for Rudri, My 8th best actress award. Thank u my team #rudri(sic).”

She has also won the best actress award for the same movie at Vindhya International Film Festival, which was held in Madhya Pradesh from January 8 to January 10. Director Badiger Devendra has received 2nd best feature film in the festival. The movie which is produced by C R Manjunath is getting appreciation at several International film festivals. In the movie, Paavana plays the role of a village girl facing exploitation.

In July last year, the film also won three awards at Tagore International Film Festival. As cinema halls in Karnataka are shut, the makers are keen to release the movie in theatres. Paavana, who has shared a screen space with Ravichandran in Kannadiga, will be teaming up with the Crazy Star for the second time in 60.
