Sayantan Ghosal’s next thriller ‘Swastik Sanket’ has been in the news ever since it was announced. The film starring Nusrat Jahan, Saswata Chatterjee and Gaurav Chakrabarty, has now locked a release date and it’s January 21, 2022. Swastik Sanket is inspired by the best-selling Bengali novel ‘Narak Sanket’ by Debarati Mukhopadhyay.

In the film, Nusrat’s character Rudrani has been invited to London to the international launch of her latest book on cryptography. In London, she comes across a mysterious man, Schumacher, who convinces her in decrypting the puzzles left behind by her grandfather and this might lead to the much-talked-about cure for cancer. While Rudrani and her engineer husband Priyam accept the challenge, what she can’t understand is that she is slowly getting trapped inside a dangerous international conspiracy.

It soon becomes a race against time as Rudrani and Priyam leave no stone unturned to find the clues to the antidote of a dreaded virus that can pose a potential challenge to the existence of mankind.

Be it the 1943 Germany, elusive secrets of Swastika, secret societies, virus threat to historical characters like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose to Hitler, ‘Swastik Sanket’ promises to be an intriguing adventure flick set against the backdrop of United Kingdom.
