New Delhi [India]: The Indian Army on Monday issued the first notice for the recruitment of Agniveers under the Agnipath plan with the enrollment process readied to start in July this year.
The recruitment rally notice, which came within a week of the union cabinet removing the new plan, claims that Agniveers would create a distinctive ranking in the Indian Army, different from any other existing rank. The alert came also as some resistance celebrations have required the withdrawal of Agnipath plan as well as there have actually been demonstrations in some parts of the country.
