Noble Babu Thomas: Janhvi Kapoor Is Amazing At Her Work

Janhvi Kapoor wrapped up the shoot of ‘Mili’, the Hindi remake of the award-winning Malayalam movie ‘Helen’ on Saturday (Nov 27), and the film is moving to the post-production stage soon. Noble Babu Thomas, who was the creative director of ‘Mili’ and also the actor-screenwriter and producer of ‘Helen’, has now shared his experience working for the Bollywood project.

In his latest post, Noble Babu Thomas penned, “Helen the movie did take us on a long journey and a never ending one… today Helen has taken a new form – MILI. @janhvikapoor you have been an absolute bliss to work with honestly. You made us all cheer up every time we got stuck with something or the other and made sure the set was lively at all times making everyone laugh (yeah you are funny, I agree now???????? ), made sure work was happening (only cz you wanted to run back home ????) Jokes apart you are amazing at your work and I know it wasn’t easy for you, yet you made sure you gave in your best. Boney Sir @boney_kapoor_ , you have been a huge support system. Being to a new industry you made it really easy for us to work and you made sure nothing went wrong with the shooting of MILI no matter what… no wonder you are known to be one of the best producers that India has… And of course Thanking each department that worked towards the movie without you guys all this wouldn’t have happened …Hope the joy we had shooting this movie will be reflected to you when it hits the screen (sic).”

Earlier, in an interview, the director of ‘Mili’, Mathukutty Xavier had shared, “I haven’t considered ‘Mili’ as a remake. And Janhvi gave an impeccable performance.”

He further added, “Manoj Pahwa has roped in to play Janhvi’s father. We have mostly seen him handling roles with humour, so it would be interesting to see him in ‘Mili’. Vicky Kaushal’s brother Sunny Kaushal is playing Janhvi’s boyfriend in the film. Similarly like Janhvi, Sunny too have tried to portray his interpretation of the boyfriend, rather than copying Nobel Babu Thomas’ performance.”
