Nitish Kumar denies he will contest 2024 General elections from UP’s Phulpur

Patna (Bihar) [India]: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday denied rumours that he would contest the 2024 Lok Sabha political elections from Uttar Pradesh’s Phulpur, claiming that he only desires to unite the opposition parties in the country.
In a veiled attack on Bharatiya Janata Event, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday questioned the source of cash for excessive marketing and regulating the information. While resolving mediapersons in Patna, Bihar, Kumar declared, “We do so much job but we don’t do that much advertising and marketing. We don’t have money for useless purposes. I do not know where some individuals get cash for so much advertising and also to regulate the information that information pertaining to others never ever gets released.”
Kumar was attending to the profits team appointment letter circulation program in Patna, Bihar.
Earlier today, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has revealed his grief over deaths triggered by lightning in the state and also introduced ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh each to the dependants of the deceased.
11 people tragically passed away as a result of lightning in 3 districts of the state.
“An ex-gratia grant of Rs 4 lakh each will be offered instantly to the dependents of the deceased. Beware in bad climate,” tweeted Bihar CM.
He also cautioned the general public and prompted them to comply with standards released by authorities throughout severe weather condition.
“Adhere to the tips provided by the Disaster Monitoring Division to prevent electrical storms. Remain at home in negative climate, remain secure,” he added.
On Monday, lightning eliminated four people in Purnea, three individuals in Supal as well as four in Araria.
Earlier this July, Nitish Kumar condoled the fatality of 5 individuals due to lightning as well as revealed an ex-gratia of Rs 4 lakh to the deceased’s relative.
According to a news release from Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), one death was reported in Siwan, 1 in Samastipur, 1 in Gaya, 1 in Khagaria as well as 1 in Saran due to electrical storms.
