London: A new British Indian Army Memorial, memorializing the sacrifice of numerous Indian soldiers who dealt together with the British throughout the two World Wars, is to be constructed in the Scottish city of Glasgow after the regional council accepted the plans.
Glasgow Common council got rid of the preparation application recently, subject to problems, leading the way for finalising the layouts for the memorial to be constructed near Kelvingrove Art Gallery as well as Museum.
The memorial effort is being led by the Colourful Heritage multimedia task, which commemorates the background of Scotland’s South Asian neighborhood, and also is visualised as Scotland’s initial long-term memorial wall surface to identify the service and also sacrifice of over 4 million soldiers of the British Indian Military.
