MP Minister Says ‘Pathaan’ Release In State Doubtful: ‘Deepika Padukone’s Costumes Are Highly Objectionable’

New Delhi [India]: Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s new music ‘Besharam Rang’ from their upcoming movie ‘Pathaan’ has brewed a fresh controversy.

The first tune from the film, which has been the speak of the metropolis ever since its release, is trending, and this time, no longer for the right reasons! Taking to his Twitter account, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has clarified his objections to the tune.

Sharing a video of himself talking to nearby media, the minister tweeted that he isn’t always sure if the movie may be allowed to be released in Madhya Pradesh.

He has objected to the selection of outfits within the song and the shade saffron of the costumes donned through Deepika in some of the tune sequences.

Narottam Mishra tweeted in Hindi, “The costumes in tune at the beginning glance are objectionable. Actress Deepika Padukone who helps ‘Tukde Tukde gang’ is in the song of the movie #Pathan. The costumes are pretty objectionable, and the tune has been shot with a grimy attitude. The scenes and costumes of the songs must be corrected; in any other case, we will not forget whether or not to permit the film to be released in Madhya Pradesh.”

Composed by Vishal-Sheykhar with lyrics by Kumaar, the peppy tune showcases the sizzling chemistry between Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Deepika’s sizzling moves and SRK’s warm appearance received many hearts; however, now that trouble has knocked on their doorways, it stays to be seen how the makers respond to it.

‘Pathaan’ is scheduled to hit theatres on January 25, 2023.
