John Abraham has launched the first look poster of his upcoming Malayalam production ‘Mike’, which will feature debutant Ranjith Sajeeev and ‘Thanneer Mathan Dinangal’ fame Anaswara Rajan in the lead roles. John Abraham flew down to Kochi and launched the first look poster in an event held on Tuesday (December 07).
John Abraham’s home proudction, which had bankrolled for movies including ‘Madras Cafe’, ‘Parmanu’ and ‘Batla House’, is venturing into Malayalam Cinema with ‘Mike’ which is directed by Vishnu Sivaprasad. The production house is also launching a new talent- Ranjith Sajeev through the film. The first look poster featured Ranjith Sajeev and Anaswara Rajan.
‘Mike’ is also bringing the crème de le crème of talent on and off camera. Jinu Joseph, Akshay Radhakrishnan, Abhiram, and Sini Abraham will be seen in some pivotal roles in the movie.
The coming-of-age movie is scripted by Ashiq Akbar Ali. Renadive, who has previously wielded the camera for films like ‘5 Sundarikal’, ‘Comrade in America’, ‘Vijay Superum Pournamiyum’, ‘Argentina Fans Kattoorkkadavu’ and ‘Shylock’ is the director of photography for the upcoming project. National award winning editor Vivek Harshan, known for his work in numerous Malayalam and Tamil blockbuster movies including ‘Big B’, ‘Sagar Alias Jackie Reloaded’, ‘Anwar’, ‘Oru Kaal Oru Kannadi’, ‘Maryan’, ‘Rajini Murugan’, ‘Ezra’, and ‘Petta’ has signed for ‘Mike’. Radhan, the composer of songs in movies including ‘Arjun Reddy’, and ‘Darling 2’ will be handling the music department of ‘Mike’. Renjith Kotheri is the art director and Ronex Xaviour has roped in as the makeup artist. Sonia Sandiavo is handling the costumes for the film. The shooting of the movie is in progress.
