British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for the first time after taking office, report.
The British Prime Minister met with the Ukrainian President to discuss the current war situation in Ukraine. In the meeting, the British Prime Minister assured the Ukrainian President that the UK would provide more air support for the people of Ukraine.
Rishi Sunak said that the UK would continue to help Ukraine. The Ukrainian President said that Ukraine has appealed to Western countries for help against Russia’s attacks many times before. The UK has given Ukraine 50 million euros for 125 anti-craft guns and anti-drone machinery.
Volodymyr Zelensky said that we are deliberately strong and will reach our desired results very soon. The UK Defense Secretary has assured that they will send over 1,000 new anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine this month.
In the first days of this week, Russia attacked Ukraine with large missiles that hit several houses, causing residents to leave their homes.
