Mollywood’s iconic investigation officer ‘Sethurama Iyer’ is making his fifth outing with the upcoming CBI series installment titled ‘CBI 5: The Brain’. Recently the makers announced that an official trailer for the film will be released on April 22nd at 5 pm.
Mammootty took to his official Facebook handle to announce the trailer. Sharing a new poster from the investigation thriller, Mammootty penned a note that read, “ CBI 5 – The Brain’ Official Trailer Releasing On 22/04/2022 at 5 PM IST.” The post was soon flooded with comments from the fans who were all excited at hearing an update from their favorite investigation movie franchise. One person commented, “You are not only a Megastar, You are a Magical magician in Indian Cinema.”
Recently the makers also announced the release date of the film which is scheduled for May 1, 2022. The film also passed a U/A certification and is reportedly having a run time of two hours and 42 minutes. With only less than 2 weeks for the arrival of Sethurama Iyer CBI, the expectation levels are sky-high among both the fans and the general audience.
Helmed by the renowned director K Madhu, the script will be penned down by the veteran writer SN Swamy who leaves no stone unturned at keeping the audience engaged with the right potions of suspense elements in the script.
‘CBI 5: The Brain’ will also mark the comeback of the ace actor Jagathy Sreekumar as the CBI officer character Vikram. Actors Mukesh and Saikumar will be also playing pivotal roles in the film as the characters Chacko and DYSP Sathyadas respectively.
The fifth installment of the CBI franchise will also feature the actors Kaniha, Soubin Shahir, Dileesh Potha, Anoop Menon, and Asha Sharath in pivotal roles.
