Nagpur /Yavatmal, Aug 11: A budding youth died after a blade of one of the helicopters he developed fell on his head in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra , a senior police official said here on Wednesday.
According to the official, the incident took place in Fulsawangi village in Mahagaon taluka late on Tuesday night, when Sheikh Ismail Sheikh Ibrahim(24), a mechanic, was testing his helicopter at his workshop.
The official further informed that Ibrahim had been making the helicopter on his own for the last two years.
He was testing the machine when it developed a technical glitch and one of the blades fell on his head, the official said.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment, the official added.
