Actor Atharvaa’s upcoming film is ‘Kuruthi Aattam’ written and directed by Sri Ganesh and has Priya Bhavani Shankar playing the female lead. Sri Ganesh had earlier made the critically-acclaimed 8 Thottakkal. The star cast also includes Radikaa Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi and Vatsan Chakravarthy. While the film is all set to hit the screens on December 24, the latest is that it has cleared by the Censor Board with an U/A certificate.
The film is said to be a gangster drama and has been mainly shot in Madurai. While the first look poster of the film featuring Atharvaa stabbed on the back with a few knives was released recently, the teaser of the film gave a glimpse of all the action and intense ride that the director is set to take the audience for.

Produced by Rockfort Entertainment, the story of ‘Kuruthi Aattam’ seems to be about friendship that Atharvaa shares with a little girl played by Divyadarshini. While music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography is by Balasubramaniem and editing by NB Srikanth.
