Kolhapur, Aug 25: Kolhapur on Wednesday reported 159 new cases of COVID-19 while two people also lost their lives due to the virus, the authorities said in a health bulletin. The fresh addition took the district tally to 203040 while the death toll soared to 5679.
As many as 215 people were cured and discharged during the day, taking the recovery count to 195769. The district is currently having 1592 active cases.
