London: King Charles III is hosting the traditional family Christmas as monarch on Sunday at the Sandringham royal estate in Norfolk for the first time.
It also notes the first time given that prior to the pandemic in 2019 that Britain’s royal family members invested Christmas at eastern England estate as well as the royal common flag is once again flying over the house marking a return of the long-standing cheery custom. Sunday also notes the first Xmas given that the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September, aged 96.
The household started the day with an early morning service at St. Mary Magdalene Church, welcoming imperial followers before taking a seat to a family dinner with turkey and the common cheery trimmings.
