Khadi India announces khadi inspired showcase at Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI
Mumbai: With an aim to bring the beauty and glory of khadi to centre stage, several leading designers have come together for a Khadi India showcase at the Lakme Fashion Week.
The showcase, to be held in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and as part of fashion gala’s Sustainable Fashion Day on March 9, hopes to present khadi as the symbol of sustainable fashion and luxury. The multi-designer runway showcase will feature a collection by Khadi India, and Khadi collections by Divyam Mehta, Suket Dhir and Shruti Sancheti.
Khadi India’s collection reimagines khadi through a contemporary vision and is presenting a collection of sarees and apparel.
