Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot in a fairytale-esque wedding ceremony on December 9 at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The couple sharedthe first pictures from their wedding and haldi and fans can’t stop going gaga over them. Now, Katrina and Vicky have shared a glimpse of their colourful mehendi ceremony. It looks like the couple had great fun with their relatives.
After their wedding, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were spotted leaving in a chopper from Sherpur, Sawai Madhopur. The couple has reportedly flown off to the Maldives for their honeymoon.
Now, Katrina and Vicky, fondly called VickTrina, treated fans to some stunning photos from their mehendi ceremony. Sharing the photos, they wrote, “Mehendi Taa Sajdi Je Nache Saara Tabbar! (sic).” Tabbar in English means family.
It looks like the couple had great fun at the mehendi ceremony along with their near and dear ones. According to sources, Vicky and Katrina played musical chairs at the mehendi ceremony. During the game, Vicky failed to grab a chair and hence lost the game.
For her mehendi, it is believed that Soja mehendi (henna) from Pali district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, was used. The artisans who prepared the henna do not add any chemicals to it. Reportedly, the mehendi for Katrina’s wedding cost Rs 1 lakh.
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are expected to host a reception in Mumbai soon. An official announcement on the same is still awaited.
