Telugu actor Karthikeya Gummakonda who started his film career with Telugu film ‘RX 100’ got engaged to his girlfriend Lohitha a few months ago on August 22. The young actor, who is making his Tamil debut as a villain in Ajith-starrer ‘Valimai’, tied the knot with Lohitha Reddy yesterday on November 21 in Hyderabad.
The wedding was an intimate affair with only family members, close friends and select celebrities in attendance. Popular Star Chiranjeevi, Ajay Bhupathi, Payal Rajput, Saurabh Dhingra, Allu Aravind, and Tanikella Bharani were among the celebrities present at Kartikeya and Lohitha’s wedding.
Interestingly, earlier this month, Karthikeya had proposed to Lohitha in public at the pre-release event of his upcoming film ‘Raja Vikramarka’ and had also announced his wedding date.
At the event, Kartikeya went on his knees and surprised Lohitha by proposing to her and he also announced that they will tie the knot on November 21. Kartikeya and Lohitha met each other at NIT Warangal in 2010and eventually fell in love with each other.
