Mangaluru (Karnataka) [India]: Multitude of police personnel have been released at Malali Juma Masjid in Mangaluru after right-wing organisations carried out ‘Tambula Prashne’ at Sri Ramanjaneya Bhajana Mandira in Malali on Wednesday morning.
According to Mangaluru authorities, area 144 will certainly remain in area within a 500-meter location of Juma Masjid here till 8 am on May 26.
On The Other Hand, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) and also Bajrang Dal did ‘Tambula Prashne’ at Sri Ramanjaneya Bhajana Mandira in Malali today.
Karnataka Home Priest Araga Jnanendra stated, “The district management is monitoring whatever. Section 144 imposed in the location near Mosque.”
A Hindu temple-like building design was discovered underneath an old mosque on the outskirts of Mangaluru on April 21.
The advancement came to the fore during the renovation work at Juma Masjid in Malali, on the borders of Mangaluru.
The renovation job was being performed by the mosque authorities. Following this, individuals have been suggesting that there is every possibility that a Hindu holy place existed at the website.
VHP leaders had appealed to the area management to stop the work till the records were verified.
