Kangana Ranaut Pays Tribute To Former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s Memorial

Actress Kangana Ranaut-starrer ‘Thalaivii’ is one of the most anticipated films, which is all set to hit the screens on September 20. Ahead of the film’s release, Kangana Ranaut along with the film’s director Vijay, paid a tribute to former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa’s memorial on Saturday morning. She also paid a respects to former Chief Minister MG Ramachandran fondly called as MGR as well.

The talented actress looked absolutely stunning decked in a glorious orange saree with red and gold border. She even took to her social networking page to share her picture before heading out to visit the memorials and pay her respects.

‘Thalaivi’, the biopic on J Jayalalithaa is directed by AL Vijay and has Arvind Swami playing the popular AIADMK leader MGR. GV Prakash is composing music for the film. The film, which chronicles the life of former actress and late CM J Jayalalithaa, was supposed to hit screens on April 23, but got postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will now hit the screens on September 10.

The Tamil version of the upcoming political drama has been cleared with a clean ‘U’ certificate. The film, which will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, has been produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh R Singh.
