Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is only a couple of days from release. The film gathered over Rs 200 crore even before it could raise a ruckus around town. As per exchange reports, Vikram’s satellite and OTT rights (in different dialects) were sold at record costs. As a matter of fact, Vikram’s pre-discharge business is the most elevated in Kamal Haasan’s profession. Vikram is perhaps the most expected film.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vikram will release in theatres on June 3. The film also features Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to inform that Vikram earned over Rs 200 crore in the pre-release business. He wrote, “#Vikram / #VikramHitlist – Highest Pre-release Business for #KamalHaasan. More than Rs 200 Crs+ including Satellite and OTT in Multiple Languages (sic).”
Vikram is tipped to be a heinous act spine chiller highlighting Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in lead jobs. The film is bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Films International. Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Harish Uthaman and Arjun Das structure the supporting cast, while Suriya has been roped in to play an appearance in the film. Anirudh Ravichander created the music for the film.
