‘K.G.F: Chapter 2’ Hindi Version Crosses Rs 200 Crore In India

Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2 is wreaking havoc at the box office. The film collected a whopping Rs 550 crore during its opening weekend. The Hindi version of KGF: Chapter 2 earned Rs 200 crore in India within a week of its release. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film is a sequel to KGF: Chapter 1, which took the entire nation by storm in 2018.

The unprecedented craze for KGF across the globe has come as a surprise to everyone.

KGF: Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel, released in theatres on April 14. The film had a pan-India release in five languages. Shot in Kannada, KGF was dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam. The Hindi version of KGF: Chapter 2 is performing exceptionally well.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, KGF: Chapter 2 has crossed the Rs 200 crore club in India. He wrote, “#KGF2 is UNSTOPPABLE… SUPERB HOLD on a working day [Mon]… Eyes Rs 270 cr [+/-] in *extended Week 1*… Should cross #Dangal *lifetime biz*, if it maintains the pace… Thu 53.95 cr, Fri 46.79 cr, Sat 42.90 cr, Sun 50.35 cr, Mon 25.57 cr. Total: ? 219.56 cr. #India biz (sic).”

KGF: Chapter 2 stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in lead roles. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, the film also features Malavka Avinash, Prakash Raj, Saran and John Kokken in supporting roles.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, editor Ujwal Kulkarni and composer Ravi Basrur as part of the technical crew. Soon, the film will collect Rs 1000 crore in the coming days and weeks.
