Jeethu Joseph’s ‘Kooman’ Starts Rolling

Filmmaker Jeethu Joseph has begun work on his upcoming film titled ‘Kooman’. The makers kick-started the shoot on Thursday (Feb 24) with the switch-on ceremony. Jeethu Joseph Tu to his social media handle to announce the same and penned, “My next Project KOOMAN started rolling.”

Jeethu Joseph had announced the movie on February 2 by launching an exciting title motion poster. ‘Kooman’ comes with a tagline that reads ‘The Night Rider’.

In an interview, Jeethu Joseph had revealed that the upcoming Asif Ali star will be a thriller. “Asif Ali has an excellent characterization in the film. Also, it is something that he hasn’t attempted before,” Jeethu Joseph shared.

The motion poster of the film, featuring a silhouette of a man running and the starry night, with a snake crawling and an owl in the backdrop, raised buzz, if the film had any horror elements, however, speaking to entertainment portal, Jeethu Joseph refuted the same.

The filmmaker also divulged that Renji Panicker, Baburaj, and Jaffar Idukki will be seen in some pivotal roles in the film.

Meanwhile, Jeethu Joseph is popular for creating the Drishyam franchise, featuring Mohanlal in the lead role. The film made headlines for its gripping storyline and was remade into many Indian and foreign languages.
