Filmmaker Vinayan posted a picture with his assistant directors and shared that the sets of the movie were made with the hard work and effort of over 250 people for 108 days. He also added that apart from that there were about 400 people working under art director Ajayan Challissery for the set.

As the title suggests, ‘Pathonpathaam Noottandu’ is set in the 19th century and will bring the life of fiery social reformer and Ezhava chieftain Arattupuzha Velayudha Panicker on the silver screen with Siju Wilson playing the lead. Vinayan had earlier shared with us that the film will be a treat for the cinephiles.

“I have planned ‘Pathonpatham Noottandu’ as a big movie, and it has turned out a lot bigger than my expectations! Art director Ajayan Chalisery, cinematographer Shaji Kumar and the whole crew have helped me a lot in bringing my vision into reality. Recreating the ancient period was the biggest challenge in our film and after watching the first cut I feel my crew has been successful,” he said, speaking exclusively in an interview.
