The long delayed film ‘Ayngaran’, which is an upcoming social drama starring musician-turned-actor GV Prakash Kumar and Mahima Nambiar in lead roles, is finally set to hit the screens after numerous postponements. The film written and directed by Ravi Arasu of ‘Eeti’ fame will release on May 5, 2022.
Produced by Common Man Production house, the film has Kaali Venkat and Arul Dass in supporting roles. The has been cleared by the Censor Board with a clean ‘U’ certificate. The film, which went on floors in 2017, is Ravi’s second directorial after Eetti starring Atharvaa.
Interestingly, GV Prakash will also be composing music for the film while, the cinematography and editing are handled by Saravanan Abimanyu and Raja Mohammed, respectively. The trailer of the film had revealed that GV Prakash plays a serious character of a common man who questions the social evils present in our society.
