On the celebration of Heeraben Modi’s 100th birthday today, a roadway in Gandhinagar will be called after her to “maintain her name active permanently and for future generations to find out lessons of service.”
Gandhinagar Mayor, Hitesh Makwana in a declaration stated, “PM Narendra Modi’s mommy Hiraba is turning 100 years of ages and keeping in account the demand as well as sensations of the people of the state resources, it has been decided to name the 80-metre roadway from Raysan Petroleum pump as Pujya Hiraba Marg”.
The declaration further included that it was chosen to rename the 80-meter road for the purpose of maintaining the name of Hiraba active for life and also for future generations to learn the lessons of renunciation, penance, solution and conscientiousness from it
