In the year 2020, a lot of new Punjabi jodies were supposed to entertain us. However, owing to the Covid-19 crisis, the plans got changed. Nevertheless, many jodis were able to hit the big screens in 2021, and offer a dose of pure entertainment, and the latest duo to join this bandwagon is Tarsem Jassar and Wamiqa Gabbi. These two are coming with their new movie ‘Galwakdi’, slated to be released on December 31, 2021.
Touted to be a romantic drama, ‘Galwakdi’ will be hitting the 70mm on new years’ eve. Perhaps that is why the makers of the movie have given the tag line – “Celebrate your New Year with a hug of love,”. Check out the new poster of ‘Galwakdi’ here:
‘Galwakdi’ is being released after a wait of good two years, as the shoot of the movie was completed in 2019.
Coming to the credits, written by Randeep Chahal, the movie has been directed by Sharan Art. Further, alongside Tarsem Jassar and Wamiqa Gabbi, the movie will have Raghveer Boli in a pivotal role in the movie.
Besides this movie, Tarsem Jassar recently announced a new project – ‘Mastaney’, which will be released on June 1, 2022. The poster of the movie was recently shared by Tarsem Jassar and it read – “An epic tale of lionhearted warriors from the rise of Sikh Empire, bring to you as ‘Mastaney’”.
On the other hand, Wamiqa Gabbi also has some amazing projects in the pipeline. She has ‘Kali Jotta’ with Neeru Bajwa and Satinder Sartaaj and ‘Kikli’ with Mandy Takhar and Jobanpreet Singh.
