Mumbai, Aug 2: Actor Farhan Akhtar on Monday lauded the performance of boxer Satish Kumar at the ongoing Tokyo Olympics saying the latter has shown what true competitors are made of.
In a tweet, the Toofan actor said, ”Shout out to boxer Satish Kumar who showed the world what true competitors are made of. Proud of you brother .. #Tokyo2020 #Boxing #TeamIndia.”
Satish sustained two cuts during his pre-quarterfinal with Ricardo Brown of Jamaica but he played with seven stitches during his quarter final bout. Though he lost to Bakhodir Jalolov of Uzbekistan he earned respect from his opponent.
