Fahadh Faasil’s First-Look As Bhanwar Singh Shekawat From ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ Out

In Sukumar’s most-awaited film Pushpa, Mollywood star Fahadh Faasil will make his debut in Tollywood and face off Allu Arjun.

The actor recently joined sets of the film a few days ago to shoot for his role as the antagonist of the film. Sharing his first-look on social media, the makers introduced him as Bhanwar Singh Shekawat (IPS). The poster sees him in a bald look, dressed in a police uniform and looking intensely at the camera in a police station. “Meet the #VillainOfPushpa. Fahadh is known for playing versatile characters on-screen in Malayalam cinema and fans of the actor are excited about his addition to this project. The actor will be seen in a look and character he has never played before. So will Allu Arjun, who plays the role of Pushpa Raj in the film that will release in two parts.

He will play a coolie turned red sanders smuggler and both his looks from the film have already been released. Pushpa: The Rise, the first part of the film, is slated to hit screens in December for Christmas. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in the much-waited project.

Shooting for the film has been in progress for a while now with the makers choosing dense forests in AP and Kerala to can the film. Pandemic has slowed progress but the makers are confident about the film. Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for the film and while the first single Daakko Daakko Meka received mixed response, the number gives a glimpse into how the film will be.
