ED detains Sanjay Raut in Patra Chawl land scam case

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: The Enforcement Directorate authorities on Sunday detained Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in connection with the Patra Chawl land scam case in Mumbai after hours of conducting raids at his residence.   Previously in the day, the ED performed raids at Raut’s home. ED sleuths reached Raut’s home around 7 am today.
On June 28 this year, Sanjay Raut was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) about the avoidance of the cash laundering situation referring to the Rs 1,034 crore Patra Chawl land fraud.
