Kannada movie Drishya 2 is set to release in December in theatres, rather than on OTT platforms. The film is directed by P Vasu, who had helmed the Kannada version of the first instalment of Drishya, which did exceedingly well at the box office. The film, which has Ravichandran, Anant Nag, Navya Nair, Aarohi Narayan, Pramod Shetty, Asha Sharath and Prabhu in lead roles, was shot in three months.
Actress Lasya Nagaraj, who will be seen in a pivotal role in the movie, said, “There are two shades in my character which are completely different from what I have done in my previous films. My expressions are very subtle and this is what makes this role special for me.”
The film is an official remake of Malayalam film Drishyam 2 which got an awesome response from viewers across the country after an OTT release.
Meanwhile, Ravichandran has also wrapped up shooting for the periodic drama, Kannadiga, directed by Giriraj. Kannadiga is also ready to hit the screens.
