Donald Trump's Twitter account has been reinstated

Twitter owner Elon Musk says former US President Donald Trump’s Twitter account has been reinstated after a public vote. It further noted that 51 percent of the people in the poll voted in favor of restoring the performance and appreciated the move for its restoration.

In 2021, the former US president’s Twitter account was closed for inciting violence. Donald Trump’s fans, who were in the number of millions, reacted strongly to this move.

Donald Trump’s supporters strongly protested this move by the former Twitter administration, in which four civilians and a policeman were killed. After Donald Trump retired from Twitter, he launched his social media platform Truth Social.

Someone from his party says that Donald Trump will run again in the presidential elections in 2024. The wealthiest man in the world, Elon Musk acquired Twitter in October for $44bn.

While he took steps on the issues, he removed the ban on Donald Trump’s Twitter account.
