Pak govt issues dark web advisory to ministries, provinces to prevent data leaks
Islamabad: Pakistan has issued a cybersecurity advisory to all ministries and the provincial governments, urging them to prevent data leaks through the dark web, it emerged on Friday.
The dark web, or darknet, is a part of the internet that lies beyond the reach of search engines. Its users are largely anonymous and untraceable.
They mainly pay with cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and remain out of the reach of the law enforcing agencies.
