The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival awards were introduced on Monday, with The Kashmir Files triumphing in the Best Film award and Anupam Kher taking the Most Versatile Actor Of The Year award for the movie. Varun Dhawan, too, won the Critics Best Actor award for his film Bhediya. In the tv class, Rupali Ganguly-starter Anupamaa received the Television Series of The Year award at the pageant.

Veteran actor Rekha was honored with an award for her ‘Outstanding Contribution In The Film Industry.’ She attended the occasion in a golden saree and was visibly bonding with Alia, who was in a white saree. The two exchanged hugs and kisses and posed together for the paparazzi. Meanwhile, Hariharan gained an award for ‘Outstanding Contribution In The Music Industry.’
