Chiranjeevi, who is busy shooting for Koratala Siva’s ‘Acharya,’ took to Twitter on Saturday, August 21, with a special request for his fans. In the post, the ‘Khaidi No 150′ actor asked his fans to plant three saplings to support the Green India Challenge on his birthday. Chiranjeevi will be turning 66 on August 22.
Taking to his Twitter, the ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ actor wrote, ”We all owe it to Mother Nature. To fight climate change & air pollution, let’s plant saplings & grow trees. This year, I urge all my loving fans to plant 3 saplings on my birthday to show your love & tag #HaraHaiTohBharaHai to support the #GreenIndiaChallenge campaign. @MPsantoshtrs.”

Responding to Chiru’s tweets, MP Santosh Kumar thanked the Megastar. He also said that the tweets by Chiranjeevi showed the love Chiranjeevi has for the protection of the environment and desired that the Mega Star fans should plant saplings and give them as a gift to Chiru. The MP suggested that every fan should tag Chiranjeevi. He also wished that Mega Star who enthralled crores of fans should be blessed with health and wealth for many years to come.
He wrote, “Happy birthday megastar! It’s such a righteous thought of yours on your birthday sir. Am sure your prudent act of planting 3 saplings and requesting your huge fanbase to do the same would draw accolades across all film industries of the country and help making nature more lovely.”
On the occasion of Chiru’s birthday, it is expected that the makers will unveil the release date of Acharya. Apart from Acharya, Chiranjeevi will be next seen in Meher Ramesh, Mohan Raja and Bobby directorial films, the makers of these films released the countdown and revealed that something special would be coming the audience’s way on the Shankar Dada Zindabad actor’s birthday (August 22).
