Chennai: From tomorrow, Chennai Metro Rail Limited will operate train services from 5.30 AM to 10 PM on weekdays. A CMRL press release said this time extension of train services would be operated only on weekdays from Monday to Saturday. Trains would be operated with an interval of five minutes during the peak hours from 8 A.M to 11 A.M. and from 5 P.M to 8 P.M.
The trains would be operated at a gap of every ten minutes during non-peak hours. On Sundays and Government holidays, trains services would be operated from 7 A.M. to 9 P.M. at an interval of every ten minutes.
