Washington [US]: Singer-Songwriter Camila Cabello has parted ways with Epic Records and signed a deal for Interscope Records.
According to Variety, the pop singer had three studio albums under the Sony Music label in four years, with the latest being ‘Familia’ in April. Her first singles, ‘Camila’ from 2018 and ‘Romance’ from 2019, each finished platinum certification from the RIAA, signifying sales of over 1 million units inside the United States. The 25-12 months-vintage Cabello joins a roster with Interscope that’s owned by using Universal Music Group and includes Lady Gaga, Blackpink, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Selena Gomez, and plenty of others, as said through Variety.
Since she first joined the organisation in 2013 through its collaboration with Simon Cowell’s Syco Music, Epic has been Cabello’s domestic. After putting 0.33 at the American version of ‘The X-Factor,’ she and the opposite individuals of the previous girl organization Fifth Harmony released their first ‘Better Together’ EP inside the equal year. What do you think?’ and now I don’t send my music to that many people anymore,” she said. “If I can’t stand behind [a song] and want to perform it, let’s not put it out, because it’s just going to turn into some weird thing where I never wanna fucking sing it again, and it’s all because I didn’t listen to myself.”
According to information from Luminate, Cabello’s latest hit, ‘Bam Bam,’ which capabilities Ed Sheeran, has obtained nearly 500 million airtime performances and over one hundred fifty million on-call for streams. Her prior hits encompass ‘Havana’ and ‘Never Be the Same’ from 2017, ‘Senorita’ (co-written with Shawn Mendes) from 2019, and ‘Bad Things’ from 2016. (with Machine Gun Kelly).
