After making a glamorous public appearance at the Venice Film Festival, love birds Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez make heads turn with their Met Gala debut this year. During the event, the couple shared a covid-friendly kiss and also walked down the red carpet with elegance.
Both adhering to the event’s ‘American Independence’ dress code kept it simple and stunning. Ben looked elegant in a tuxedo, while his partner Jennifer looked glamorous in a free-flowing dark brown gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit.
Earlier, the couple made headlines when they had a troublesome encounter with a fan when they arrived at the Venice airport.
A video that went viral on social media showed a man in a navy shirt and khaki shorts, rushing past the security to click a picture with Jennifer Lopez. Jennifer, who didn’t really see this coming was shocked and stepped aside to hide behind Ben, who quickly stepped in and pushed the man away. After distancing the man, Ben took Jennifer’s hand and walked away to catch their flight.
Meanwhile, Ben and Jennifer made their relationship official recently at the red carpet premiere of his movie, “The Last Duel’ at the Venice Film Festival. They rekindled their old romance and reunited after they broke up in 2004. Back in 2003, the couple had been engaged and were all to marry but had to delay their wedding and eventually split in 2004.
