New Delhi [India]: Delhi Environment Priest and also Aam Aadmi Celebration (AAP) leader Gopal Rai on Wednesday said that the Delhi government has prohibited the manufacturing, storage, sale, and bursting of biscuits this year also with penalties and also jail terms in case of offense.
While resolving an interview, Rai said “This year also, there is a restriction on manufacturing, sale, storage space as well as bursting of crackers.”
” Sale or storage of firecrackers in Delhi can be penalized with a penalty of Rs 5,000 and/or jail time for 3 years,” he said.
The priest additionally claimed that rigorous action will certainly be taken versus those rupturing crackers prior to Diwali.
” Stringent action will certainly be taken versus those who burst crackers till Diwali. Under section 268 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), there is an arrangement of a fine of Rs 200 and/or prison for 6 months versus those that burst crackers,” he better claimed.
