Badrinath Dham Yatra resumes after a short ‘Bad weather’ break 

Chamoli (Uttarakhand) [India]: Badrinath Dham yatra resumes after a short break. Yatra was put on hold on Monday after heavy rainfall, has returned to today morning.

” As quickly as the weather condition improves, 115 cars left Badrinath Dham this morning. The movement of guests has begun for Badrinath Dham” stated Chamoli District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana on Tuesday.

The movement of explorers was put on hold amid heavy rainfall followed by falling stones near Hanuman Chatti.

Talking with ANI, District Magistrate Himanshu Khurana claimed, “Because of hefty rains last night, activity of guests were outlawed due to the falling of stones from the rock in Baldoda ahead of Hanuman Chatti on Badrinath National Freeway as well as increasing water in Lambagad drain.”

Pilgrims going to Badrinath Dham were put at Pipalkoti, Chamoli, Nandprayag, Karnprayag and Gauchar, Govindghat.

The temple is one of the four ancient trip sites referred to as ‘Char Dham’ which also consist of Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath.

Char Dhams attract lakhs of visitors and also supporters yearly from across the country and abroad. (RECTUM).
