Actor Arun Ram Gowda, who was last seen in the movie Yuvarathnaa, is making preparations for his directorial debut that will be made in five languages. The as-yet-untitled film has stunt director Vikram Mor on board.
In an interview, Arun says, “I have been planning my directorial debut for the last several years. I have finalised the script, a commercial entertainer, which will be made on a grand scale. The plan is to make it as a pan-Indian cinema, as the subject has universal appeal. We will first release a teaser, which will give a peek into the subject, and then we will begin shooting. A prominent Kannada actor will be seen in the antagonist’s role. There will be several actors from different industries who will be part of this mega project. The female lead of the movie will be revealed soon.”
Arun is the latest actor to venture into direction. Actors like Rakshit Shetty, Rishabh Shetty and Darling Krishna have been able to succeed both as actors and directors.
