Anasuya Bharadwaj’s Father Dies At 63

Anchor turned actress Anasuya Bharadwaj’s father, reportedly, passed away earlier this morning. Her father, Sudharshan Rao Khasbaz breathed his last today morning in Tarnaka, Hyderabad. He was 63 years of age and had been suffering from cancer for a long time. The family, quite understandably, is said to be deeply upset over the news at the moment.

Her father worked with the Congress party as a publicity secretary when Rajiv Gandhi was the Prime Minister.

The ‘Rangasthalam’ actress has 2 younger sisters and got married to Susank Bharadwaj with whom she has 2 children. Whereas her other sisters reportedly run a web media house, in Punjagutta, Hyderabad.

On the work front, Anasuya who had 2 releases this year is making her Malayalam film debut with superstar Mammootty’s ‘Bheeshma Parvan’ and has 3 other films lined up for release.

She is also busy filming for 3 other Telugu films in the supporting roles that include ‘Khiladi’ starring Ravi Teja, ‘Pakka Commercial’ starring Gopichand and ‘Ranga Marthanda’ under the direction of Krishna Vamsi.

Anasuya is also busy with a handful of TV shows as an anchor such as ‘MasterChef India Season 1’, ‘Jabardasth’ and ‘Prati Roju Pandage’ as a host.
