Amitabh Bachchan Turns Narrator For Prabhas & Pooja Hegde’s ‘Radhe Shyam’

Amitabh Bachchan is now a part of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s Radhe Shyam. Yes, you read that right! The actor has been roped in to narrate the story of Radhe Shyam. Announcing the same, UV Creations, the production house shared a poster thanking Big B for turning narrator for Radhe Shyam. Amitabh Bachchan is currently working with Prabhas on their upcoming film, Project K.

Amitabh Bachchan recently took to Twitter to reveal that he has resumed shooting for director Nag Ashwin’s Project K. The Baahubali actor treated Big B with a lavish lunch spread, which took the latter by surprise. Big B couldn’t get over the yummy cookies.

After Project K, Amitabh Bachchan is now a part of Radhe Shyam. The official Twitter handle of UV Creations wrote, “Thank you Shahenshah @SrBachchan for the voiceover of #RadheShyam (sic).”Thank you Amitabh Bachchan Ji for making this epic love story even more epic with your incredible narration (siC),” read the words on the poster.

In a statement, director Radha Krishna Kumar said, “The film is set in the 1970’s and is mounted on a massive scale, we needed a voice that can command the nation and who better than Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, a voice that everyone recognizes, respects and more importantly loved. We are so happy to have him as Radhe Shyam’s narrator .”

Radhe Shyam is a period love story set in Europe. While Prabhas plays the role of Vikramaditya, a palmist, Pooja Hegde will be seen playing the role of Prerana. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the film’s shooting and release were delayed several times. Radhe Shyam will release in theatres on March 11.

Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film features Bhagyashree, Priyadarshi, Murali Sharma and Sachin Khedekar in important roles. Radhe Shyam will be released in five languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
