Days after announcing her split with ex-husband Dhanush, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth is back to work. The filmmaker is busy with the pre-production work of her upcoming music video, which will be bankrolled by Bay Films. The music video will be out on Valentine’s Day this year. Last week, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth ended their 18-year-old marriage due to irreconcilable differences.
On January 17, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth called it quits after 18 years of togetherness. The news came as a huge shock to everyone in the film industry and their fans. The two are proud parents to two sons – Yatra and Linga.
Days after announcing her split, Aishwaryaa got back to work. She has been signed on by Bay Films to direct a Valentines’s Day special music video. The pre-production work has begun and Aishwaryaa is busy finalising the cast and crew for the same.
The official Instagram handle of Bay Films shared a photo of Aishwaryaa discussing with her team. Their post read, “Aishwarya Rajnikanth starts prep for her music video. PPM in full swing in Hyd, directed by @aishwaryaa_r_dhanush and produced by @kumartaurani @pprernaarora and @bayfilms_llp. It will release on #ValentinesDay @ssalmanmshaikh @manan.sampat (sic).”
The music video will reportedly be shot at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth announced that they were separated. The couple, in their similarly worded statement, requested privacy.
According to Dhanush’s father, Kasthuri Raja, the couple had not filed for a divorce yet. He also revealed that Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are currently in Hyderabad working on their respective projects.
