Actor Yashas Surya married Ambika, an event management professional, at an intimate wedding ceremony at a temple in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Following Covid restrictions, the guest list for the wedding was restricted to close family members, well-wishers and a few Sandalwood celebrities such as Darshan, Abishek Ambareesh, Prem, Pannaga Bharana and Karunya Ram.
“It is an arranged marriage. We hoped to have a grand wedding, but the restrictions due to the pandemic did not allow us to do so. Since our horoscopes helped pick this auspicious date, we decided not to delay the ceremony,” explains Yashas, who will next be seen on screen in a special role in the Kannada film Tribble Riding.
