Taking a deep-breath while 0.5 ml of the Covi-Shield Vaccine containing spike-proteins in a harmless virus, is being injected into my muscle which then gets carried into a nearby lymph node, seeing which my immune system gets triggered and produces anti-bodies and activates T cells which thereby equips my body to fight the Corona Virus promptly if it ever enters. ????♂️ (sic),” Ahaana Krishna penned.
She also reminded the netizens to follow all the safety precautions even if they are vaccinated against the virus. “Taking a shot of the vaccine is not a reason for any of us to stop following any of the safety protocols. Unless we achieve Herd-Immunity, none of us are safe and we need to follow all safety protocols until then. To attain Herd Immunity, we should all go forward and get ourselves and our people vaccinated at the earliest.
